The Outlast Trials is also a fresh new take on The Outlast series while it still spices things up with a whole new slew of mechanics, the horror title is still rooted in the same universe as the previous games. The Outlast Trials is our most challenging production, and we’ll continue developing the game until we feel the game delivers our initial vision.” The Co-Founder of Red Barrels, Philippe Morin, had this to say to Reagents – “We’re eager to see and hear how Reagents (players) perform in Murkoff’s experimental program during The Outlast Trials Early Access,” further stating – “Feedback from players throughout Early Access is key to us delivering a more refined and balanced game. The player’s limits will be tested in new environments, new trials, several challenges, a seasonal program, character and cell customizations, full character progression, narrative introductions, conclusions for each Reagent Released, and more throughout the Early Access.
The early access will have all the classic Outlast features while at the same time will be introducing an entirely new program structure and co-op features like in games such as Dead by Daylight. Players will be pushed to their limits, experiencing mind-numbing terror, trying to survive with friends, or going at the terrifying challenges solo. The newest addition to the Outlast series, The Outlast Trials, will have players stepping into Murkoff’s Sinyala Facility during the early access. Players have access to the cooperative survival horror experience in The Outlast Trials.
